Meals

All meals are provided for residents in the Queen Mother Hall (QMH) dining room.

Campers and non-residents join residents for the Friday evening meal, which is covered by the Bible School fee.

Options for the other meals are set out below:

QMH prepaid option

Join the residents in the QMH dining room by ordering before 30 June 2025 via the Meals Booking Form. (This form will be available from 1 April 2025, God willing.)

This option includes a main course, salad bar, deserts and drinks from the machines in the QMH dining room. You can eat your meal in the main dining room or the marquee.

The 2025 prices are:

Please note, there is no charge for children aged 4 and under.

QMH takeaway option

Join the queue for the servery in the QMH dining room after the residents and those who have purchased the pre-paid option. Ask for the takeaway option and pay at the till.

Please note:

  • This is not a cheaper way to purchase the full QMH dining experience.
  • You will be charged for what you have selected. (We will work with the University to establish a fixed price we can share with you, but the detailed price list often isn’t available until the Monday of Bible School.)
  • This meal should not be eaten in the QMH dining room, but the marquee is available or meals can be taken back to the campsite.
  • Drinks are not included.

Kaldi Café

This is located at the Bamford Library and offers freshly ground coffee, salad meals, sandwiches, paninis, toasties and oatcakes which are paid for at the counter on the day. It’s generally open 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday outside term time. Please note that it is normally closed on Saturday.

Shops

There are several options for those who wish to purchase food to prepare on the campsite:

  • The Feed Store – located on campus, this small shop stocks snacks, toiletries and a selection of general groceries. It’s generally open 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday outside term time. Please note that it is normally closed on Saturday.
  • Newport – located 10-15 minutes drive from campus, there is a Waitrose supermarket in the town centre, plus an Aldi and a Lidl on the ring road to the east of the town.
  • Telford located 20-30 minutes drive from campus, there are many options to purchase groceries, notably an Asda Superstore in Donnington Wood and a Tesco Extra just off the M54 motorway in Wellington.
