To aid in our planning and to help make the week run as smoothly as possible we ask that those submitting a booking for Newport Christadelphian Bible School are aware of our expectations:
- All are expected to behave in a Christ-like manner.
- All are expected to attend for the full week from Monday at 4:30pm to Saturday at 1:00pm. Newport Christadelphian Bible School is usually over-subscribed and attendance for part of the week takes up a place which could benefit someone who could attend for the full week.
- All are expected to honour bookings which have been confirmed by the payment of a deposit. Late cancellations can disrupt the work done to prepare for Newport Christadelphian Bible School and take up a place which could be offered to someone else with more notice.
- All adults aged 18 and over are expected to honour the offer to help submitted with their booking. We rely on this information when making our plans for Newport Christadelphian Bible School.
- All are expected to attend the main sessions and classes, except those marked as optional on the programme.
- Parents and guardians are expected to notify the appropriate committee member(s) if your child cannot attend a class or activity for any reason.
- Parents and guardians are expected to be responsible for their children outside organised activities.
- All are expected to respect the University facilities, including bedrooms, and to report any issues or damage to the committee promptly.
- Please do not not swap or change rooms in the residences or pitches on the camp site. The room lists are shared with the University Security so they can respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.
- All are expected to respect the 11:00pm bedtime and to be quiet in the residences and on the campsite between 7:00pm and 7:00am.
- All are expected to dress modestly so as not to cause offence.
- Sisters are expected to wear a head covering to the main sessions.
- All who believe the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, as exemplified in the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith and are members of a Christadelphian Ecclesia in Central Fellowship, are invited to take part in the Memorial Service.
- All are expected to self-isolate to protect others if requested.
Further detail relating to these will be found in the Joining Notes which we plan to issue in early July 2026, God willing.
These expectations are for the benefit and safety of all attendees as well as ensuring compliance with University requirements, please respect them.
