Practical points

Campers may arrive from 11:00am on Monday to set up camp and the site should be cleared by 3:00pm on Saturday. Early arrivals cannot routinely be accommodated and pitches must be cleared of all tents and caravans before leaving the site.

Each pitch includes a designated room in Gloucester Hall for shower and toilet. This room is not to be used as a bedroom. Other shared showers and toilets are available nearby.

There is a laundry room with washers and dryers available.

There are water and waste disposal points nearby.

Campers have access to nearby kitchens with kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing up facilities.

The campsite is located on the University’s primary rugby field (see 35 on the Harper Adams campus plan) so consequently fire pits and anything similar must not be used to prevent damage to the grass. Barbecues are acceptable so long as they are raised above the grass to prevent damage.

An in-date fire extinguisher should be brought for each ‘pitch’.

Morning, afternoon and evening drinks are included along with the Friday evening family meal.

There are a variety of options to purchase food on campus, please see the Meals page.

Details of ‘pitches’

A standard ‘pitch’ is about 10m x 10m and is intended for use by up to six people.

A ‘pitch’ is primarily intended for an immediate family or a group of young people (aged 18 and over).

Anything larger than this combination is charged as two pitches.
